Lion’s Pause spaces are primarily designated for reservation by student organizations formally recognized by the Student Government Association (SGA). All student and non-student organizations are required to submit event requests through Presence. Students should utilize the “event” form while non-student organizations should utilize the “campus” form. Non-student organizations will be charged a flat rate of $15 per hour for each tech or security staff working for the expressed purpose of running the event, including pre- and post-event duties. Band slots will continue to be provided to student bands free of charge. Any labor required by a band that exceeds the typical labor during a band slot will incur additional charges. Reservation requests for large concerts must be approved a minimum of two months in advance.
January term and Spring semester reservation requests for student organizations will open on November 1st and close on November 15th. They will open to non-student and student organizations on November 16th and close on December 1st. Reservation requests will open again on the first day of January Term. 2026 Fall semester reservation requests for student organizations will open on April 13th and close on May 13th. Fall semester reservation requests for non-student organizations will open on May 2nd and close on May 13th. Reservations requests will not be accepted from May 14th to August 26th and will be accepted again starting on August 27th. Reservations are approved on a first-come, first-served basis. The Pause reserves the right to deny a reservation request for any reason.

- Consult the Pause calendar to see when the Pause is available
- Fill out the Presence form TWO WEEKS in advance of your event. No need to fill out a request in 25Live.
For non-student organizations to reserve a space in the Pause, please fill out this campus form TWO weeks in advance of your event.
